Silverwing

Ever wondered what it would be like to join a drone on its journey? Together with students from the aerospace faculty of Delft, we are developing a driveline capable to lift a person and follow a predestined air ride. We will participate in their quest to achieve ultimate power-to-weight ratio which is required for such an application. Being so challenging, of course not a student and/or AE Group colleague will be hovering, but a dummy person of 90 kg. From a standing start to a flight of around 30 min. Being part of a competition of Boeing, there is a real challenge and for AE Group an opportunity to provide a means to work towards the electrical 3D transportation grid!
